Thursday Paint Nights 3 hours: Join us for a guided painting exploration of casual fun and technique building, while sampling our unique hand blended teas.

Skill Building Watercolour Series: Four classes of 3 hours.

Course Description:

Watercolour is a graceful and translucent medium. Light emanates from underneath the surface, which connects the painter and viewer to the multiple layers of connected colours. Our courses will teach the basic fundamental principles that relate to all great design and composition, as well as techniques specific to watercolour. You will have the opportunity to put these principles and techniques into practice, so they will start to become intuitive. Register for a single class or a series. We also welcome private art parties for birthdays, special occasions, bridal parties, community groups, and corporate team-building.

The Instructor:

Jane Geurts studied drawing, painting and graphic design in Ontario, and followed her passion for teaching with a long career as a design instructor at the New Brunswick College of Art and Design. Jane's great sense of humour made her a favourite with her students for over 30 years. Currently Jane is a full-time artist, skillfully combining paint and mixed media techniques to create her unique paintings – janegeurts.ca.
